Curbside Compost collects food scraps from residential and commercial locations across Connecticut and New York. Our process ensures that food scraps are brought to compost facilities, not burn plants or landfills. This decreases waste and pollution, and produces healthy soil to offer back to the earth. We stay true to our roots by helping our planet recycle organic material.

We collect all food scraps, including meat, bones and dairy. Put it in your bucket and we'll empty it every week or every other week. This is a very easy way to compost!

​How it works

Get your bin, fill it up
Curbside Compost will deliver a pail, lid, countertop bin and roll of compostable bags on your designated collection day.
We'll collect it each week
We provide a BPI certified compostable bag each week to line your pail and you leave it filled with scraps at the end of or on your driveway by 7:00 AM on your designated pick-up day.
Place an order for delivery
Place an order any time you would like for more compostable bags, compost, garden soil, or mulch delivered.​
We service the pail
Leave your filled pail with that week's food scraps at the end of or on your driveway by 8:00 AM on your designated pick-up day and we will replace it with a clean pail.
Have compost delivered
When you would like compost, please order it online or reach out to us.
